Two colours carry the character of this house. The sculptural black staircase is balanced by herringbone timber floors, the checkerboard marble by smoked-glass cabinetry. Black steel-framed glass partitions divide the rooms while keeping the light inside. In the bathrooms, marble turns into single-piece sculptural forms; brass details warm the whole. With bespoke joinery from the kitchen to the cabinets, the project was carried from design to build under one hand.
